Lebanon Visa FAQs

When is the best time to apply for my Lebanon visa?
The best time to apply for your Lebanon visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, we may be able to process your visa on a faster service at the Embassy’s discretion.

Do I have to send you my passport to get a Lebanon visa? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Lebanon visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application using our secure collection service.

  1. Direct Application

Sample of the Tourist Travel Requirements for a Lebanon Visa for Australian Citizens

  1. Visa on Arrival Option Available for Single Entry Only

Travellers who only need a single entry visa may be eligible to get a visa on arrival for a stay of up to 30 days.

Check with the embassy for details and confirm your airline will permit boarding without a visa as these conditions are subject to change. To minimise the risk of being refused entry and to avoid excessive waiting for a visa to be issued on arrival, Visalink strongly recommends that travellers obtain all visas prior to travel.

    The traveller must:

    • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank pages and with no Israeli stamps
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds in the form of a bank statement or cash
    • Hold proof of onward/return flights
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination
    • Hold documents showing proof of purpose of trip
    • Hold a visa for the next destination, if applicable

  2. Personal Appearance

The Embassy and/or Consulate of this destination requires applicants from your particular country to apply for a visa in person. Visalink is unable to assist in this instance. Please contact the Embassy or Consulate for further information. The information provided here should be used as a guide only. Please contact the Embassy to verify the latest requirements before confirming travel arrangements.
